Abstract

The globalization of law and multilevel law have permeated local ordinances, changing domestic constitutionalism to one that shares common features based on international human rights law; Guatemala has not been the exception of such a phenomenon, which has led to the expansion of the matter of the constitution in this country. Legal transplants such as the French bloque de constitutionalite and the control of conventionality of the Interamerican Human Rights Court have generated the constitutionalization of a large number of international norms, likewise, constitutional laws, constitutional reforms, national and international jurisprudence, etc., make up a wide spectrum of norms (rules, principles and values) that need to be schematized under a group interpretive perspective that manages to determine their value and preeminence between them in case of conflict. This research seeks to identify the types of constitutional norms in Guatemala, study them from their axiological and normative content, and modulate them, in order to create a constitutional normative pyramid that functions as an interpretive parameter in case of conflict between them.
